I guess Amazon would rather promote bad English and therefore bad education at the expense of their authors. When a line becomes "he threw the bed on the phone" while I laughed at the visual I was saddened for the author and what her stories mean to her. This is a sweet story with an ending that could have had a little more closure. Here is a start for others to call out and get editing to be covered for all books and words not be allowed to be removed for better printing. We all would like to read the authors whole stories in their own words.Product details

Breakout Play is the third book in Jaymee Jacobs' Dallas Comets hockey series. This book features the guarded Ally, who meets Adam Harris, Comets playboy, through her best friend G. Nothing that Adam does seems to impress Ally, but when she finally lets down her guard, does Adam win her over?
I loved Ally from page 1. As an introvert myself, I could relate to Ally preferring her quiet, calm life and being wary of Adam's need to be the life of the party. As the story went on, I found myself falling for Adam's sweet and thoughtful side. Trust is never easy, especially given the circumstances in Ally's life, so I loved reading her journey of learning to trust and love the man who proved to be so much more than she thought he was.
I definitely recommend this book! Jaymee does a great job of writing lovable characters! I especially loved getting the "locker room banter" of chirping from the Comets team!

I liked the story line and the characters, but the ending was very unsatisfying. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a cliff-hanger and they were together at the end, but it just felt sudden and out of place. I know this is a series, and I'm sure we'll see the characters again in future books, but since each book focuses on a specific couple, it won't be the same as just having written one more chapter for this book.
The story was pretty good and I liked the concept. My biggest issue was the ending. I'm still not sure there was one. It seemed more like there should be another four or five chapters to it. Just my opinion, but I'd read another book by this author.
Enjoyed it! Wish it would have gone a little further to show how they dealt with the drug situation. Will read more from this author

I received a ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Ally and Adam and did not want to put it down!! Well written and a good story line!! The only drawback was it seemed to end suddenly and you were left not knowing some of the answers to the story lines. I would still recommend that anyone who likes a hockey romance to read this book!!
I absolutely loved this book! Jaymee Jacobs has done it again and written a great story with great characters!!! I can't wait for the next book in this series!!!
